JG Superstore has opened its first flagship store at the third floor of the Annex at SM City North EDSA, expanding beyond online retail as demand grows for cameras and content creation equipment in the Philippines.

The company said the branch is its first flagship store and the country’s largest camera store, offering cameras, lenses, drones, microphones, lighting equipment, memory cards, and other accessories from brands including Canon, Sony, Fujifilm, Nikon, DJI, Insta360, Lumix, Kodak, Godox, SmallRig, Ulanzi, Yamaha, and SanDisk.

The expansion shows the growing number of Filipinos creating content for social media, live selling, podcasts, photography, and video production, industries that increasingly require professional equipment and technical support.

Rather than serving only as a retail outlet, JG Superstore said it wants the branch to become a learning and community space where beginners and professionals can test products, compare equipment, ask for expert advice, and improve their skills.

“JG Superstore North EDSA is more than just a store for us. It represents our passion and long-term commitment to the creative industry,” said Jill Tan, co-founder and VP of JG.

“We know how important it is to equip Filipino creatives not only with quality products, but also with learning opportunities, expert support, and a community that helps them grow.”

The company started as an online seller on Lazada and Shopee before expanding to physical retail. The flagship store marks its biggest investment in providing customers with hands-on access to cameras and creator tools before making a purchase.

The branch will also host workshops through JG Academy, where photographers, videographers, and content creators will conduct training sessions on photography, video production, and other creative skills. The company said the classes are intended for beginners, hobbyists, and professionals who want to keep up with new technologies and industry trends.

To help customers upgrade their equipment, the store also offers a camera trade-in program. A dedicated section for used cameras is available for buyers looking for lower-cost options.

JG Superstore said these services are designed to support customers at different stages, from buying a first camera to building a complete setup for professional photography, podcasting, live selling, or content creation.

The flagship store officially opened with activities including live-selling demonstrations, cosplay photo shoots, free camera cleaning, and podcast equipment demonstrations. Executives from camera brands such as Canon, Sony, Fujifilm, Nikon, Lumix, and DJI joined the opening alongside representatives from SM.

Located at 3F Annex, SM City North EDSA, the store aims to become a one-stop destination where Filipino creators can buy equipment, learn new skills, and connect with others in the creative community.
