Infinix is set to introduce a portable power device with a stated capacity of 100,000mAh on Oct. 10, expanding its product lineup into backup power for home and outdoor use.
The XEnergy S320 has a battery capacity of 320 watt-hours (Wh) and weighs 3.3 kilograms, according to the company. It features DC outputs that allow users to power multiple compatible devices at the same time.
Infinix has yet to disclose the S320’s price, maximum output or estimated runtimes for specific devices. Its announcement also did not detail the available ports or charging time.
Joining the S320 is the XEnergy L1000, a backup power system that supports solar, grid and battery power.
The L1000 has a 500W output and both AC and DC ports. The appliances and devices it can support will depend on their power requirements.
It also includes a built-in uninterruptible power supply, or UPS, which Infinix said can switch to battery power in less than 20 milliseconds when the main electricity supply is cut.
The feature is intended to reduce interruptions to connected devices during power outages.
The company has not disclosed the L1000’s battery capacity or specified whether solar panels will be included or sold separately.
Both devices form part of Infinix’s new XEnergy line, adding power products to a portfolio that includes smartphones, laptops, tablets and other electronics.
