DITO Telecommunity has restored 100% network availability across earthquake-affected areas in Mindanao, allowing families, businesses, and emergency responders to reconnect as communities continue recovery efforts.

DITO said its network teams worked continuously to restore services after the earthquake affected 24 provinces across six regions. As of 1:30 p.m. on June 10, 2026, DITO completed the restoration of its network, supported by the deployment of portable generators to keep critical sites running.

“Mindanao holds a special place in DITO’s story and in our hearts,” Atty. Adel Tamano, chief commercial officer of DITO Telecommunity, said. “Through Tulung Tulong DITO, we are extending not just connectivity, but solidarity and support to the communities that have long been part of our growth. In difficult times, staying connected can make all the difference.”

Connectivity was also restored in 79 barangays, including nine barangays in Sarangani and 66 barangays in South Cotabato, helping residents regain access to communication services while recovery operations continue.

Alongside its restoration efforts, DITO launched its Tulung Tulong DITO community support initiative in General Santos City, providing free WiFi, free calls, and charging services to residents affected by power interruptions.

The temporary connectivity hub allowed residents to contact loved ones, access important information, and charge their mobile devices during the recovery period. As of June 10, the station had helped charge more than 300 mobile phones and battery packs for residents from nearby hospitals, communities, and establishments.

“In times like these, our priority is to help communities reconnect with their loved ones and access the support they need. We are grateful that our employees and partners are safe, and we remain committed to serving the people of Mindanao as they recover and rebuild,” said Eric Alberto, president and CEO of DITO Telecommunity.

DITO said it will continue supporting communities by keeping Filipinos connected and informed as Mindanao recovers and rebuilds after the earthquake.
