Fitness+, Apple’s subscription-based workout service, is scheduled to launch in the Philippines on December 15 as part of the company’s widest expansion to date, giving users in 49 countries and regions access to 12 workout types.

The service offers 12 workout categories with sessions ranging from five to 45 minutes, covering Strength, Yoga, HIIT, Pilates, Dance, Cycling, Kickboxing, Core, Treadmill, Rowing, Mindful Cooldown, and Meditation, all accessible on the iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV.

Apple said users may pair their workouts with an Apple Watch or AirPods Pro 3 to view personal metrics onscreen, including heart rate, calories burned, Activity rings progress, and the Burn Bar, which compares a user’s effort with others who completed the same workout.

The company also highlighted Fitness+’s team of trainers, whom it described as diverse and specialists in their fields.

Moreover, the trainers develop workouts collaboratively and appear in each other’s sessions to welcome everyone into the experience.

The service also offers Custom Plans, a feature that generates a personalized workout and meditation schedule based on a user’s preferred activities, durations, trainers, and music.Music will continue to play a central role in the Fitness+ experience, Apple said, citing its integration with Apple Music.

Along with existing genres like Upbeat Anthems, Latest Hits, Hip-hop/R&B, and Latin Grooves, the platform will introduce a K-pop genre across all workout types.

Furthermore, the Artist Spotlight series will also continue, featuring playlists dedicated to artists such as Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, BTS, Selena Gomez, and Coldplay.

Apple also promoted its Time to Walk audio experience, which features stories, photos, and songs from public figures including Cynthia Erivo, Daddy Yankee, Naomi Campbell, Camila Cabello, Simu Liu, Shawn Mendes, and Jane Fonda. A new episode featuring Formula 1 driver Yuki Tsunoda was released today.

Fitness+ will be offered in the Philippines for ₱149 per month or ₱1,190 per year, and can be shared with up to five family members.

Apple is offering three free months of Fitness+ to customers who purchase a new Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, AirPods Pro 3, or Powerbeats Pro 2 from Apple or an authorized reseller.
