Maya has announced changes to its Games feature in line with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ (BSP) latest directive for all BSP-supervised financial institutions.

    What’s changing:

    • Effective Saturday, August 16, 8:00 PM, customers will no longer be able to access gaming sites and apps through the Games feature in the Maya app.
    • Until then, customers can still withdraw any remaining funds from linked gaming accounts back to their Maya Wallet via the Games feature.
    • After the deadline, withdrawals must be made directly through the gaming provider’s website or app.

Maya assures users that all other financial services will remain fully available and that they will continue working closely with regulators and industry partners to maintain high standards of consumer protection and regulatory compliance.
