HUAWEI is once again raising the bar with the latest release of the MatePad Pro 12.2 inch. The new tablet is a premium device designed for productivity, creativity, and mobility. Creatives, content creators, students, and professionals now have a single device that combines PC-level performance, immersive visuals, and artistic tools in a single ultra-portable form factor

The MatePad Pro 12.2″ stands out because it’s not just a tablet but a full productivity suite, a canvas for creators, and an intuitive device for daily use. It has the  ability to transform into a PC with the HUAWEI Glide Keyboard and M-Pencil (3rd Gen) turns it into a capable drawing and art pad.

As a PC, it provides robust productivity and performance, ideal for demanding tasks. For artists and designers, it transforms into an artboard, offering a paper-like drawing experience that allows for unhindered creative expression. Its tablet form factor ensures ultra-portability and intuitive daily use.

The MatePad Pro 12.2″ with lifetime free access to PC-level WPS Office Suite 2.0, enabling users to create and manage spreadsheets, presentations, and documents with full desktop functionality. For further enhancing productivity, an all-new Live Multitask feature allows up to three resizable apps to run simultaneously, facilitating seamless switching between tasks and projects.

The 12.2-inch Tandem OLED PaperMatte Display with 2.8K resolution, 2000 nits peak brightness, and 144 Hz refresh rate delivers bright and vivid visuals. The nano-etched anti-glare surface and paper-like texture make the screen ideal for reading, designing, and drawing.

Also included in the tablet is the GoPaint drawing app for creating digital art. The 3D Oil Painting and True-Color brushes replicate the rich, textured feel of traditional canvas painting. The upgraded app also introduces simple animation features for visualization and creating storyboards.

The MatePad Pro’s 10,100mAh battery enables up to 14 hours use on a single charge. Using Smart Power Conserve, the unit can even go up to a full year on standby. Other features include a fingerprint scanner for added security and biometric access and Wi-Fi 7 with Super Signal technology for fast and reliable connectivity.

The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025) retails for Php 49,999 and is available for pre-order from July 11 to 17 on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, the HUAWEI Online Store, and HUAWEI Experience Stores.
