Soundcore, Anker’s audio subrand, has released its latest wireless earbuds, the Liberty 5 in the Philippines.

The Liberty 5 delivers premium features such as adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC), Hi-Res and Dolby 3D audio, multi-point connectivity, IP55 rating, and a 12-hour battery life. The Liberty 5’s launch was held at an airline-themed event on June 2 at Palacio de Memoria in Paranaque City.

Liberty 5 has the latest version of the Soundcore Adaptive ANC 3.0 algorithm with advanced processing which works in tandem with a unique acoustic cavity to deliver two times more effective voice cancellation that adapts in real-time environments every 0.3 seconds. It’s a welcome feature especially for those who often travel as commuters or airline passengers. Using simulated sounds piped inside a real aircraft at the event, Soundcore Philippines was able to demonstrate how effective Liberty 5’s ANC was even under loud engine and passenger noise including a crying baby. For audio calls, a six-mic array captures clear voice input and AI-powered noise reduction filters out unwanted background noise. A transparency mode ensures that users can also hear the outside environment.

For audiophiles, the Liberty 5 is designed for a top-tier audio experience. The earbuds can connect up to two sources and the Liberty 5 can be calibrated to individual user’s listening preference using the Soundcore app. Preset listening modes are also available for various audio content such as music, shows, movies, and podcasts. A 9.2mm bio-diaphragm composite driver made from wool-paper is designed for optimal listening experience with three times the clarity for mid and high frequencies while minimizing distortion. Hi-Res Wireless and LDAC high-resolution support deliver best in class audio for a studio and theatre-like experience. For bassheads, the Liberty 5’s dual bass tube technology enhances low-end frequencies for a more natural bass.

Daily commuters and travellers will find the Liberty 5’s slim slide up case easy to hold. With the charging case, the earbuds can have a total battery life of 48 hours with ANC off and 32 hours with ANC. On a single charge, the headset can last for up to 12 hours. A ten minute charge can deliver up to 5 hours of playtime. The Soundcore app can also display the charge level of the case itself along with the battery percentage of each headset.

The Soundcore Liberty 5 is now available in five colors for Php 5995 at retail stores, Soundcore.ph, and official Soundcore shops in Lazada, Shopee, and Tiktok.
