As a first in the Philippine market and the world, TP-Link has launched its latest devices supporting the bleeding edge Wi-Fi 7 standard. Now available for purchase starting April 26, the TP-Link Archer BE230 router is available at the official TP-Link Shopee store and selected retailers.

Also introduced at the TP-Link Wi-Fi 7 launch event held at the Grand Hyatt last April 25, were several other Wi-Fi 7 devices such as Deco mesh routers, range extenders, and adapters. The attendees were also given a preview of upcoming Tapo Smart Home devices.

The upcoming Deco BE25 Wi-Fi 7 mesh routers will be available in June for P13,990 (2-pack) and P19,990 (3-pack). The TP-Link RE235BE range extender will also be available in June for P4,990 and the Archer TBE400UH will be released in July for P3,190.

Significant benefits of upgrading to Wi-Fi 7 include faster downloads, support for 4K/8K streaming, enhanced security, increased area coverage, more reliable connections, reduced latency and support for up to 2.5Gbps LAN and WAN ports, and 5Ghz and 2.5Ghz multi-link operation. In practical terms, users can experience up to 49% faster transmission speeds.

In his opening speech, Ben Chen, TP-Link Philippines country manager, said that “TP-Link is the first in the world to release its Wi-Fi 7 products and we are thrilled to be the first to introduce the future of connectivity to the Philippines”.

For May, TP-Link will be introducing its new lineup of Tapo Smart Home devices that support Wi-Fi 7. These devices include the Tapo C425 wireless security camera, Tapo D230S1 2K 5MP Smart Battery Video Doorbell, Tapo C720 2K QHD Smart Floodlight Camera, and Tapo T100 Smart Motion Sensor.
