Gawad Madiskarte, presented by Madiskarte Moms PH (MMPH), a community powered by PLDT Home, is returning this year to recognize hardworking and successful Filipino mothers who are also championing sustainability through their businesses.
MMPH, a 172,000-strong online community, supports and provides education and business opportunities for Filipino mompreneurs. Included in this year’s major awards are ‘Diskarteng Eco-Friendly,’ to be given to the mompreneur advocating environmental responsibility and green solutions; ‘Diskarteng Angat,’ for the mompreneur leveraging sustainability to boost business sales growth; and ‘Diskarteng May Puso,’ which will recognize the mompreneur promoting positive change by fulfilling social responsibility to communities.
Two winners will be named per award, including one from the Start-Up category with mom-owned businesses running for at least six months and another one from the Scale-Up category or enterprises led by mompreneurs that have been operating for at least 13 months.
Gawad Madiskarte will also grant the ‘Diskarteng Digital’ and ‘Diskarteng Home Biz’ awards.
