Mobile application users of Metrobank are encouraged to download the new version of the Metrobank app by Nov. 21 as the old app will be deactivated soon.

According to the bank, the new app will let users have simpler, safer, and personalized banking.

Metrobank customers will have more convenient transactions via cardless withdrawals at Metrobank and PSBank ATMs and QR code transactions.

It has also waived Instapay fees when transferring money up to P1,000 to other banks until the end of the year.

Users can also activate their Metrobank credit card via the app, transfer money from their credit card via PayNow. It also also allows conversion of credit card limit to cash through its Cash2Go service.

For personalization of the app, users can arrange for their most used features with its customizable dashboard and conserve battery life by changing to dark mode.

The application is now available on the Google PlayStore, Apple Appstore, and Huawei AppGallery.
