HUAWEI introduced a new lineup of smart wearables in Bangkok, Thailand, equipped with health tracking, sports analytics, and longer battery life to attract younger and more active users.

The HUAWEI Watch GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition is designed for consumers looking for fitness-focused smartwatches with premium materials and advanced wellness features.

The new devices are part of Huawei’s efforts to promote smarter everyday living, with features tailored for users balancing work, exercise, and wellness routines.

The HUAWEI Watch Fit 5 Series includes the HUAWEI Watch Fit 5 Pro and the standard HUAWEI Watch Fit 5, both built around the company’s signature square watch design. The updated models feature slimmer profiles, brighter displays, and support for more than 100 sports modes.

The premium HUAWEI Watch Fit 5 Pro comes with a titanium body and 2.5D sapphire glass, features typically found in higher-end smartwatches. It also adds electrocardiogram (ECG) functionality, diabetic risk study features, outdoor sports tracking, and guided mini-workouts designed for users who want more detailed health and fitness monitoring.

Huawei said the Pro model can last up to 10 days on a single charge, for users who want longer battery performance without frequent charging.

The standard HUAWEI Watch Fit 5 is designed for everyday comfort with a slimmer and lighter design while retaining many of the fitness and wellness capabilities of the Pro variant. The smartwatch supports daily activity tracking, sleep monitoring, wellness management, and interactive workout features.

Huawei also expanded the watches’ sports capabilities to include cycling, golf, trail running, and tennis, offering data analysis and training guidance for both casual users and competitive athletes.

Also introduced during the event was the HUAWEI Watch GT Runner 2 Racing Legend Edition, a smartwatch designed specifically for runners and marathon enthusiasts.

The device features a new Running Ability Index (RAI) and an upgraded Training Camp Dashboard, tools intended to provide deeper performance insights and structured training support for runners preparing for races and endurance events.
