Huawei unveiled three new devices in the Philippines, expanding its lineup of foldable smartphones, tablets, and audio wearables. The launch introduced the Huawei Mate X7, Huawei MatePad 11.5 S 2026, and Huawei FreeClip 2.

The Mate X7 led the launch as the company’s latest foldable smartphone, supported by a productivity-focused tablet refresh, and a new pair of open-ear wireless earbuds designed for active lifestyles.

    Huawei Mate X7

The Mate X7 features an 8-inch foldable display wrapped in a slim profile with vegan leather finish. Huawei built the device with what it describes as 360-degree protection, using aerospace-grade materials across the hinge, frame, and dual screens to improve resistance to bending, drops, scratches, dust, and heat. The phone carries IP58 and IP59 ratings, allowing resistance to dust, fresh water up to 2 meters deep, and hot water exposure up to 80°C.

For imaging, the Mate X7 introduces a 50MP Ultra Lighting HDR main camera with up to 17.5EV dynamic range for improved detail in bright and backlit scenes. It also includes a 50MP telephoto macro camera for close-up and long-range shots. The device runs on a 5600mAh battery with support for 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. Multitasking features allow up to three app windows to run simultaneously.

    Specs:

    • 8-inch foldable display
    • 50MP Ultra Lighting HDR camera
    • 50MP telephoto macro camera
    • 5600mAh battery
    • 66W wired, 50W wireless charging
    • IP58 and IP59 rating

    Huawei MatePad 11.5 S 2026

The MatePad 11.5 S 2026 is designed as a 4-in-1 productivity tablet supporting a keyboard, mouse, and stylus. It features a 2.8K PaperMatte display with a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals and reduced glare. The tablet supports PC-Level WPS Office 3.0 for document editing, including advanced math functions.

Accessories include the Huawei Smart Magnetic Keyboard, Huawei M-Pencil 3rd Gen, and a Bluetooth mouse, enabling a laptop-like workflow. The tablet is powered by an 8800mAh battery with 40W fast charging.

    Specs:

    • 11.5-inch 2.8K PaperMatte display
    • 144Hz refresh rate
    • 8800mAh battery
    • 40W fast charging
    • Keyboard, mouse, and stylus support

    Huawei FreeClip 2

The FreeClip 2 wireless earbuds use an open-ear design with what Huawei calls an Airy C-Bridge structure. Built with shape-memory alloy and liquid silicone, the earbuds aim to provide a secure fit during movement. The device includes a dual-diaphragm driver and an NPU AI processor to enhance sound processing.

It features a three-microphone system for call noise reduction and carries an IP57 dust and water resistance rating. Battery life is rated at up to nine hours per charge and up to 38 hours with the charging case.

    Specs:
