Laifen just landed, and the ‘fancy’ hair dryers should be nervous

There’s a new contender in the world of hair tech, and it’s here to prove that great hair doesn’t have to come with a luxury-sized price tag.

Global innovator Laifen has officially landed in the Philippines, introducing its lineup of smart hair dryers that promise salon-worthy results without the drama, noise, or heat damage.

Founded in 2019, Laifen has quietly become the go-to for smart, minimalist personal care tools, with over 20 million users worldwide as of early 2025. And now, it’s ready to shake up the local scene, giving Filipinos a smarter (and faster) way to get their hair in perfect shape.

    Small but mighty: Laifen Mini

Compact doesn’t mean compromise. The Laifen Mini packs a 110,000 RPM motor that dries hair in record time while staying surprisingly quiet at 61 dB. At just 299 grams, it’s so lightweight you could practically forget you’re holding it.

Laifen’s Smart Temperature Control keeps heat in check 100 times per second, and the built-in Negative Ion Generator tames frizz for that smooth, post-blowout finish. There’s even a Child Mode for gentler airflow on little ones or fine hair.

Available in Green, Blue, and White, the Laifen Mini retails for ₱5,799 SRP, currently down to ₱3,599 on Laifen’s official Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok stores. A portable powerhouse for people who don’t have time (or patience) for slow dryers.

For the precision stylist: Laifen SE 2

The Laifen SE 2 is for those who like control without the learning curve. Its 108,000 RPM motor and 21.5 m/s airflow handle thick hair with ease, while Smart Temperature Control (regulating heat 80 times per second) keeps your strands safe and shiny.

It offers 10 styling combinations, 2 airspeeds, and 5 temperature levels, so you can tweak your routine down to the strand. And at 59 dB, it’s whisper-quiet. No more shouting over your hair dryer.

Available in White, the Laifen SE 2 is priced at ₱7,499 SRP, currently ₱4,499 for early buyers.

The everyday favorite: Laifen SE Lite

If your idea of haircare is “quick, easy, and not chaotic,” the Laifen SE Lite will feel like a dream. It’s 15% lighter than the SE, shorter by 6mm, and floods your hair with 150 million negative ions for a frizz-free finish.

With Smart Temperature Control adjusting heat 50 times per second, you get consistent results without risking heat damage. The 62 dB sound profile keeps your morning routine calm even before coffee.

Choose from Tan, Pink, or Purple for ₱3,799 SRP (or ₱1,999 during the promo period).

Smart, stylish, and kind to your hair

Laifen’s debut lineup is sleek, smart, and serious about performance. No fuss, no fancy markup, just great hair every day. To celebrate the launch, shoppers can enjoy limited-time discounts, bundle deals (like 50% off a waterproof bag when you buy an SE 2 or SE Lite), and a free comb while stocks last.

All models are available now on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop. Follow @laifen.philippines on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more updates and promos.
