Suno AI can literally write a song for you in seconds. Here’s two songs I wrote in 3 minutes.

Have you always been that person who loves to write song lyrics but can’t play a musical instrument? Well Suno AI is here to democratize song writing with artificial intelligence. Just recently released this December, the Suno AI team is composed of AI enginners and musicians. From their website:

Suno is building a future where anyone can make great music. Whether you’re a shower singer or a charting artist, we break barriers between you and the song you dream of making. No instrument needed, just imagination. From your mind to music.

We are a team of musicians and artificial intelligence experts based in Cambridge, MA. We are proud alumni of pioneering tech companies like Meta, TikTok and Kensho, where our founding team worked together before starting Suno.

We like to ship code, make music and drink coffee. Our company culture is all about music and experimenting with sound — from lunchroom conversations to the studio in our office. If you’re any of these things or nothing of the sort, we’d love to hear from you.

I was able to use Suno AI to create a holiday Christmas jingle about technology. The web app can be used in “easy mode” where all you need to do is write a quick prompt such as “write me a song about asking a friend to buy the latest copy of Modern Warfare 3” (which we did by the way and here is the result)

But if you want to fully customize your song, you can opt to write down your own lyrics and the preferred musical genre such as acoustic pop, R&B, jazz, and the like. So, going back, here’s the song I wrote (in literally 3 minutes) using phone features such as battery life, processor type, and screen resolution as allusions to LOVE. It’s called .. Electric Love.

What’s interesting is that the Suno AI web app tries its best to match meter with lyrics, so if you have original lyrics, you can opt to click on the “generate lyrics” button and the app will clean up whatever it is you wrote into verse and chorus as well as help with the cadence.

So yeah, please do have a listen to our two original songs. And then make some yourself at Suno AI.
