Smart device brand HONOR Philippines has awarded a Tesla Cybertruck to the grand winner of its HONOR X9d 5G “Win a Tesla Cybertruck” promo, which ran during the smartphone’s pre-order period from Jan. 9 to 23, 2026.
The winner, Lorelyn Felonia, secured the multi-million peso prize after purchasing 10 units of the HONOR X9d 5G during the campaign, turning what began as a smartphone purchase into one of the most high-profile tech promos in the country.
The campaign was designed to highlight the durability and everyday reliability of the HONOR X9d 5G, which the company markets as one of its toughest smartphones. The device is designed for users with active lifestyles, with features focused on drop resistance, pressure tolerance, and long battery life.
“The HONOR X9d 5G is our biggest win this year, and it continues to stand out in its category with its ultra-tough build, engineered to withstand everyday drops and pressure, making it a reliable companion for users with active lifestyles,” said Stephen Cheng, VP at HONOR Philippines. “This awarding marked a milestone not only for us, but also to our growing community of Filipino fans.”
The promo drew strong nationwide interest, combining a high-demand smartphone with the chance to win a rare electric vehicle. The Tesla Cybertruck, known globally for its unconventional design and limited availability, served as the campaign’s main draw.
HONOR Philippines executives led the awarding ceremony, including Sean Yuan, country manager, and Eason De Guzman, digital marketing manager and content lead.
With the promo concluded, HONOR Philippines said it plans to roll out more campaigns that pair its devices with rewards to expand its local customer base.
