Samsung launched a new lineup of Vision AI TVs and sound devices in the Philippines, featuring AI-powered viewing, gaming and smart home features.

The South Korean tech giant introduced several new display models, including the Micro RGB Vision AI TV, Neo QLED Vision AI TV, OLED Vision AI TV and Mini LED Vision AI TV.

Among the highlights is the Micro RGB Vision AI TV, which uses microscopic RGB backlights to improve color accuracy, brightness and contrast while reducing color bleeding. The TV also supports glare reduction and up to 165Hz variable refresh rate gaming.

Samsung also introduced AI-powered features such as Vision AI Companion, which gives users access to cast details and live sports statistics through conversational prompts. AI Football Mode automatically adjusts picture and sound settings for sports viewing.

Head of AV Business at Samsung Electronics Philippines Chris Almazan said, during the media briefing held May 20 at the Samsung headquarters in Taguig City, that the Vision AI companion was designed to provide viewers to “enjoy the value” of real-time conversations and information while watching content.

Meanwhile, the OLED Vision AI TV uses self-illuminating pixel technology designed to deliver deeper blacks and brighter highlights. Samsung said the display is powered by its NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor, which uses AI neural networks for real-time image optimization.

For gaming, Samsung also showcased the Odyssey OLED G7 monitor, which supports up to 330Hz refresh rates at full HD resolution and 160Hz at 4K.

The new TVs run on Samsung’s One UI Tizen platform and will receive up to seven years of operating system upgrades, according to the company. Samsung TV Plus, which offers free streaming channels and on-demand content, is also included.

Samsung is also offering launch promotions for the new Vision AI TVs beginning May 25. Customers purchasing select Micro RGB, Neo QLED and OLED Vision AI TVs can receive a free monitor worth PHP 32,999 and a free soundbar worth up to PHP 86,999.

The company is also offering free installation and VIP product assistance services worth up to PHP 10,000, along with discounts of up to PHP 86,999 on select models.
