Infinix is adding Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile platforms to selected smartphones, starting with the upcoming Infinix NOTE 60 Pro, to improve its devices’ performance, gaming, imaging, and AI features for users.

Infinix aims to tighten integration between hardware and software, working more closely with Qualcomm Technologies Inc. to optimize system-level performance across devices. This would make phones run faster, more efficiently, and more smoothly in everyday use.

Select versions of the NOTE 60 Pro will be the first Infinix smartphones powered by Snapdragon mobile platforms.

“We are excited to collaborate with industry leader Qualcomm Technologies,” said Tony Zhao, CEO of Infinix. “This important step for Infinix advances our mission for a tailored user experience through in-depth hardware-software integration, utilizing Snapdragon platforms and technologies to deliver greater innovation and quality for customers globally.”

By using Snapdragon system-on-a-chip (SoC) solutions, the NOTE 60 Pro is expected to support better power efficiency, smoother gaming performance, improved camera processing, and more integrated artificial intelligence (AI) features.

Infinix also noted that it has already used Snapdragon platforms in its tablet lineup over the past year, which received positive feedback in the market. That experience, the company said, helped pave the way for expanding Snapdragon integration into smartphones and other product categories.

Infinix also wants to improve its premium devices while keeping prices competitive, as it continues building a wider ecosystem of products with stronger performance consistency.

“Expanding Snapdragon integration into Infinix’s mobile portfolio marks an exciting milestone, one that highlights our shared commitment to delivering breakthrough innovation, elevated performance, and more seamless user experiences,” said Chenwei Yan, senior vice president of product management at Qualcomm Technologies Inc.

Infinix said the NOTE 60 Pro will serve as a showcase device for its next phase of product development, focusing on performance, design, imaging, and audio-visual improvements powered by Snapdragon technology.
