Happy Pokemon day everyone!
Today marks the 30th anniversary of Pokemon Red and Blue’s release, starting off the Pokemon franchise. For such a big occasion as this, surely there’s something for every kind of Pokemon fan prepared.
In case you have missed the broadcast, or want to see what’s in store immediately; here’s a rundown of what they have unveiled.
Pokemon Go goes all out for their 10th anniversary, promising encounters with a wide range of Pokemon we have seen in the game so far from March 7 to 9.

Red, the player character from the first Pokemon games returns with his original look in Pokemon Masters EX. The protagonists of the latest mainline games, Scarlet and Violet, will also be featured for the game’s 6.5 year anniversary.

Pokemon Cafe releases missions for special brooches for every starter Pokemon, starting with the Kanto trio until March 11. Keep an eye out for special decorations too.

Mew makes an appearance in Pokemon Sleep, releasing missions for encounters.

Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno become playable in Pokemon Unite, with special anniversary events to unlock them early. Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr are also set to release in the future.

Pokemon XD, Fire Red, and Leaf Green receive ports to newer consoles, giving people the opportunity to play these older games.

A new mega evolution for Garchomp makes its debut in Pokemon Legends ZA Mega Dimension. Make sure to check your Mystery Gift for an encounter with one!

Pokopia reveals more features such as cooking, multiplayer, and more transformations, set to release March 5.

Lastly, the announcement we are all waiting for, the next entry in the main line series. Pokemon Winds and Waves is revealed. Showing the new environment, underwaterexploration, and the new starters: Brow, Pombon, and Gecqua.
